Earthquake source parameters for Corinth Rift Laboratory

Source parameters are computed via SourceSpec, through the inversion of the S-wave displacement spectra. The computed parameters are:

• the seismic moment, from which moment magnitude Mw is calculated;
• the corner frequency;
• the source radius;
• the static stress drop;
• the radiated energy;
• the apparent stress.

A wave attenuation factor, t*, is also inverted from the high-frequency spectral fall-off, from which an average quality factor Qo is computed.
